Dwarka and Somnath are accessible by road and rail; the nearest airports are Jamnagar Airport for Dwarka (about 130 km away) and Diu Airport for Somnath (approximately 65 km away). Both towns are well connected by train and regular bus services from Ahmedabad and Rajkot.

No special permits are required for Indian or foreign tourists to visit Dwarka and Somnath; however, carrying valid identification is recommended.
