How to Reach Bhutan
By Air
The primary gateway to Bhutan is Paro International Airport (PBH), located about 6 km from Paro town. The nearest railway station to Bhutan is Hasimara Railway Station in West Bengal, India, approximately 110 km from Phuentsholing, the southern border town of Bhutan. From Hasimara, a private cab can be arranged for the 3-4 hour drive to Phuentsholing, from where you can continue your journey into Bhutan.
